Taha Beyrouthy is currently the Dean of Engineering and Technology at the American University of the Middle East (AUM). He has been instrumental to the growth of higher education at AUM through his broad experience in academic leadership and commitment to both a student-centered education, and a technologically-empowered teaching and learning environment. He earned a Ph.D. in Micro and Nano-electronics from Grenoble Institute of Technology, France in 2009 and obtained his engineering education from IMT-Atlantique (Telecom-Bretagne). As associate professor of electrical engineering, he has authored/coauthored over 100 peer-reviewed publications in applied physics, micro/nano electronics, robotics and artificial intelligence.
