A seasoned Technology leader, Yousef comes with over 15 years of experience in senior roles in both Telco and Banking sectors.
A collaborative leader with an engaging, consultative style, Yousef joined National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) 8 years ago and now designated as Assistant General Manager leading Global IT Operations and Internation Banking Group (IBG) Technology.
Having Co-lead various Strategic Technology initiatives, most notably the launch of the first Digital attacker Bank in Kuwait ‘WEYAY’, Tier 3 Data Center Renovation, multi-cloud Infrastructure adoption and Next-Gen Infrastructure migration to Containerization and Kubernetes, and recently inferfacing the degital agenda with Google Cloud Platform. Yousef’s influencing skills, leadership and technical acumen have been integral to the significant successes during his time at NBK.
Identified as a one of the Banks Future Leaders, Yousef has participated in multiple executive education programs such as Harvard business School, INSEAD Business School, IE Business School and Cornel University, and continues to develop his leadership capabilities as he progresses his career at the bank.
